Snack Time
Snacking could be your love language. We want to make sure your snacks aren’t derailing your nutrition strategies or health goals! So, whether on the road, stuck at the desk, or just need a little pick me up, here are 5 grab and go snacks we are loving.
Starting off strong with a favorite. These are great to throw in the center console even in the summer months. Nuts are known to be a good fat source, but pistachios are also great for fiber and protein. Plus you can get them at most gas stations if you’re in a pickle. These are kept on auto ship over in these parts.
This jerky is hands down one of the best tasting jerkies we have found. It has a great savory quality and a tender jerky. Another great “doesn’t melt in the car snack.” These are sure to be great when the meeting is running a little too long or the traffic is insane.
Sometimes that sweet tooth seems to come on a little strong. These cocoa dusted, oven roasted almonds are great for that. They come in 100 calorie packs, while we aren’t here to tell you 100 calories is all you can have, the small packs do make it convenient to throw in a desk drawer, glove box, or purse to grab when you need them. These have a great little twinge of sweetness without the overkill that chocolate covered can be (although, chocolate covered is a winner sometimes).
This is a fridge staple. Both in the office and at home. Whether you use yogurt as a snack or a meal, it’s a winner. ratio:Protein is a winner over here. Great flavor and packs some protein. Our favorite way to enjoy this is with a cup of fresh fruit.
We have yet to meet a bobo’s snack we didn’t love and these protein bars are no exception. These pack 14-15g of protein, which isn’t HUGE when you look at other protein bars. What we love about this one is the fiber content and flavor. They don’t taste chalky, fake, or anything that has us gagging at other bars.
Look, these are just five of the Half Belly Favorites. It doesn’t mean these are superior to another snack. Rule of peach when our clients chose snack is to incorporate two macro groups into your snacking! If you have questions about how you can do that or would like to introduce us to a new grab and go snack, we would love to here from you! Text us at 225-308-1538.
